And Winter Gracefully Arrived
The winter arrived in Connecticut, and arrived in a very graceful way – the snow was coming down on Saturday – not too hard, just right. We probably got about 6 inches, and that snowy Saturday followed by a beautiful, sunny Sunday, with the beauty of the first snow, crisp, fresh, white. No work commute was affected, no schools closed – the very graceful arrival of the winter.
What you see here are a few pictures, from my walk around the neighborhood, all captured with the trusted iPhone. Enjoy!

I love the third pic
Thanks. It was an interesting moment in time to get her right after she was happily eating the snow 🙂
I bet she had a lot of fun playing in the snow. She is so cute! Looking forward to meeting her!
Now, this is really sad – Penny lives with us since February – which means that you guys didn’t visit almost for a year! This has to be fixed! And Penny is a very sweet dog – you will like her. I’m off to come up with the plan how we can get together…
Beautiful!
🙂 I like having 4 seasons. Fall and winter are typically the most expressive here 🙂
Wow! Stunning photos! The snowy landscape is lovely. 🙂
Thank you, Tonya! It’s all Mother Nature, I’m just a spectator.
🙂❄️❄️
The snow on the nose!! The best photo!
She really likes the snow, so this was a happy capture 🙂
Love the pictures! Especially, the canine-centric ones 😉
Of course 🙂 her name is Penny, and she is a rescue, about 3 years old. Very sweet dog who likes to sleep on the couch (she is actually doing it right now)
